The ways in which we can all live more sustainably can take many forms, such as:
In the short run, sustainability is focussed on reducing energy cost and the lowest hanging fruit here is LED lights. However, 85% of the energy consumed today is still not Carbon free.
In the long run, companies will also need to look at local sources of Green Energy and today’s front-runners are Onshore Wind and Solar. Onshore wind may still produce energy slightly cheaper, but solar is much more versatile and still improving efficiency rapidly.
